Melissa Evans is a certified physician assistant with a strong foundation in both clinical and surgical care. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Randolph-Macon College in 2014, followed by a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Lake Erie College in 2016.

 

Before joining West End Foot and Ankle in 2023, Melissa spent several years working in emergency medicine, where she gained extensive experience in acute care, fast-paced decision-making, and managing a wide range of medical conditions. She now brings that skill set to her current role, seeing patients in the clinic and assisting Dr. Weiss in the operating room.

 

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys staying active through running, hiking, biking, and traveling. She’s recently taken up golf and loves spending time with her two dogs and cat.
